I wouldn't worry so much about me running off to Spain and staying there due to some silly guy. I would worry more about the fact that at this moment in time, I want to lock myself in the Biblioteca Nacional and never ever leave.

ReplyDeleteThat explains the lack of correspondence from you. You have been sequestered in the library. I do not want the library to steal you away either, but at least the library won't break your heart. And we have really good libraries here, so I don't think I will lose you to Spain forever!

I think you underestimate the pull of the BNE. Also, just read anything by Borges and Carlos Ruíz Zafón to remember that books can always break your heart. It's very traumatic living in such real yet imagined worlds.
